The Ghost Writer

Not all authors to be lucky enough to be able to produce a work that made him famous and rolling in wealth. Some must be willing to be a writer who never mentioned his name, or better known as ghost writer. Indeed this work is as easy because the author is not directly responsible for the results of his writings. But this work does not mean there is absolutely no risk.

In the case of ghost writer played by Ewan McGregor is the problem not so easy. Initially this author's agent had the duty to continue writing a biography of former British prime minister Adam Lang (Pierce Brosnan). The agent assured that this work would not be too difficult and this opportunity will not come twice.
Armed with the belief that the ghost writer was off to the island residence of Adam Lang. Apparently, some of the biographies had been written by a ghost writer other but not completed due to the writer of this suddenly died. New is also the ghost writer is starting to work, other problems muncul.Adam Lang has submitted a suspect accused of acts of terrorism at the CIA to be tortured. The scandal quickly became head line everywhere and started many residents who came to protest the actions of Adam Lang. The farther this ghost writer to gather facts, the more obvious if there is a possibility that the ghost writer was murdered and died before Adam Lang could be a CIA spy during which he served as Prime Minister of England.

THE GHOST WRITER This is evidence of mastery director Roman Polanski concocted the story and the scene becomes an integrated and exciting spectacle. There is no element of surprise but it does not really matter if the arrangement is as good as this story line. Good again, there is no impression of 'compression' which usually smell when a film adapted from the novel. Indeed there are very few irregularities, but it was not to make unity this story so scattered.

Formation of character is also nice and it is not separated from the foresight of the supporting actors and actresses in utilizing the space provided script to dig deeper into the characters they play. Pierce Brosnan was able to convince the audience that he is a former Prime Minister. Even I do not remember until it was once attached to the actor with the name James Bond.
