HTTP Geolocation

Introduction

This document describes a header for Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) [RFC2616] that includes a reference location information. The "Geolocation" request header includes a URI to a resource that includes location information. A server can choose to use this information in serving the request. How this affects the response is up to the server, but this could be used to select content that is more appropriate for a recipient at the given location.
